o Al Lang is a retired business executive and consultant and has operational experience with large corporations, businesses, and small family operations. He is currently active in Kickapoo Valley Meeting, a member of the nominating committee of Northern Yearly Meeting, and Kiwanis, and is on the board of Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association. He is co founder of Camp Woodbrooke.

o Jenny Lang earned a masters degree in child development, was a teacher in pre-school, elementary school, and college, and is a member of the board of the Illinois Section of the American Camping Association (ACA). She is currently active in Kickapoo Valley Meeting, the mother of four children and four grandchildren. She is an ACA certified camp director and actively involved in professional associations and has been director of Camp Woodbrooke since its inception.

o Dave Chakoian is a family physician in Viroqua, WI, co-Clerk of the Kickapoo Valley Monthly Meeting and co-founder of Waysmeet, Inc.

o Lynn Chakoian is a writer and has a doctorate in Environmental Studies (UW, Madison). She is a co-founder of Waysmeet, Inc. She is currently serving on the School Committee of Scattergood Quaker Boarding School in West Branch, Iowa and is on the Comprehensive Planning Commission for the City of Viroqua, WI. She helped form the non-profit Valley Stewardship Network for the Kickapoo River Watershed, WI. She is a member of the Kickapoo Valley Friends Meeting. She also home schools her three daughters.

o Barbara Houghton is a published writer and poet. Currently, she is president of the McFarland, WI Public Library Board. She served on the Policy Committee of the Friends Committee on National Legislation from 1996 to 2002 and is a member of the Wisconsin State Poet Laureate Commission. She has danced with the Quaker group, the Friendly FolkDancers, and currently serves on their steering committee.

o David Houghton is emeritus Professor of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has led workshops at Friends General Conference on weather including its spiritual aspects. He has also participated in many tours with the Friendly FolkDancers and currently serves as clerk of that group.

o Beverly Morgan served as co-Director of the Quaker School at Horsham (PA), which she helped found in 1982. She is publicity manager for the Westby Historic Preservation Committee; is on the Board of Vernon County WI Habitat for Humanity; and volunteeers regularly at the Food Pantry in Westby which serves all of Vernon County. Presently she is a member of the Kickapoo Valley Friends Meeting.

o David Rhodes is a new board member in 2005. He is a birthright Quaker; published novelist with MFA; former rural activist; current secretary, Richland Center/Santa Teresa (Nicaragua) Sister City Project; AFSC corporate member; recording clerk, Richland Friends Meeting; editor of newsletter for prisoners and families of prisoners; coordinator for local food buying club and literary group.

o Edna Rhodes is a new board member in 2005. She is a convinced active Friend of 22 years; masters degree in psychology with extensive post graduate work; five years teaching, 25 years in school psychology and directing special education, pupil services in
rural districts. Outreach coordinator, Richland Friends Meeting.
